What we collect

FileFort does not collect your home records, photos, documents, or any personal data you enter into the app. That data lives on your Mac and, if you choose, in your personal iCloud account — neither of which FileFort has access to.

When you purchase FileFort through the Mac App Store, Apple processes the transaction. We receive confirmation of the purchase but no payment details.

Crash reports and diagnostics

If you opt in to sharing diagnostics with Apple, anonymous crash data may be forwarded to us through Apple's standard developer tools. This contains no personal information and is used only to fix bugs.

Third-party services

FileFort does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. If you use the AI-assisted capture feature with your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key, requests are sent directly from your device to those providers under your account — not through FileFort.
